Kat! I've noticed a lot of people asking about moisturizers and I've recently discovered Burt's Bees Radiance Day Lotion. It's been a really great product in my opinion: it doesn't leave that greasy feeling. It's wallet friendly and super easy to find, and as an added bonus it has SPF 15 and serves as a great base for makeup! Here's a link: http://www.burtsbees.com/natural-products/face-moisturizers/radiance-day-lotion-spf-15.html

check it out! I certainly will since it’s been a rough winter haha.

I suffer from quite bad spots(or acne) and I often get teased for it. I sometimes get called pizza face and all that stuff.
I was wondering, do you know anything that I could use that could help get them not so noticable?

First off, I’m sorry you have to deal with that. It’s so uncalled for, people can be so cruel, and most of the time they’re just as insecure as the rest of us. You are beautiful, I don’t even have to know you to know that!

If you’re looking for an awesome concealer, I’ve been loving Laura Mercier’s Secret Camouflage followed by Laura Mercier’s Silk Creme foundation

I have really sensitive fair skin that can't handle the late fall/winter climate changes, it become super dry. It is getting to the point I can't wear facial makeup like foundation because my skin gets dry and flaky. Any suggestions to help improve my dry skin?

Check out the moisturizers I posted below. Apply them definitely before you put makeup on, and nightly after you wash your face. Plus make sure to drink lots of water.

do you have any recommendations for moisturizers for dry sensitive skin? i love your blog! you're awesome for answering all these questions!

Thank you so much!! If you want to play it safe, try Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream. The formula is fairly basic and is great for dry to very dry skin that is sensitive. Another good one is Aveeno Ultra Calming Daily Moisturizer.

I have naturally wavy hair. It usually fixes just fine, but now that is it windy and below 30 degrees everyday, it frizzes horribly! Do you know any products that might help??

The winter is brutal… try a leave in conditioner/hair mask every once in awhile. Also, after you get out of the shower, apply a Moroccan oil like Je Veux Moroccan oil. Click here for a few places that sell it.

Hi Kat, do you have any recommendations for really dry skin, like on the face area? My make-up looks a tad blotchy when I use it because of dry skin. thanks

Start by moisturizing. This is something you should do nightly after washing your face. Then before applying your foundation, apply moisturizing to the areas of your face that get the driest. Also make sure you’re drinking lots of water, especially during the winter. The heat and lack of moisture messes with your skin.
